SNORKELING: Enjoy all of the fantastic scenery below the water! Snorkeling tour
companies provide free rentals of all equipment. Otherwise, you are able to rent from
dive shops near the beach.

JET SKI: Suitable for those who enjoy speed. Take an exhilarating ride on your own
"water motorcycle"!

SCUBA DIVING: The waters around Saipan are called a diver's paradise; the water is
always clear and the coral reefs and tropical fish are outstanding. Unlike other dive
spots, the Marianas offer some of the best wreck diving in the Pacific — including World
War II wrecks.

WINDSURFING: Our gentle trade winds offer ideal conditions for windsurfers.
Windsurfing is popular year round, but particularly so November to April when the
island's enjoy gentle breezes from the southeastern Pacific.

BANANA BOAT: These boats are pulled behind a motorboat at around 50 km/hour.
Fun for family and friends; these boats seat up to 6 passengers.

PARASAILING: Enjoy the panoramic view from the ocean as a parachute, hooked
onto a boat, takes you to on a ride approximately 30 meters high. An enjoyable
experience overlooking the lagoon.

SKYDIVE: An exhilarating excursion for the strong at heart. Enjoy an extreme activity
and take home fond memories on video.

WATER SKI: Most marine sport operators offer water skiing. Learn how to water ski
or, if experienced, tear up the waves.

SEA WALKER: See the underwater world with a sea walking tour! Enjoy various
tropical fish and coral on a safe, fun 3 meter deep dive, a view normally only seen by
certified divers.

CLIFF FISHING & DEEP-SEA FISHING: Fishing can be enjoyed year round. Cliff
fishing is popular for all ages and can be enjoyed in many locations on island. For deep-
sea fishing, charter a fishing boats with an experienced captain and necessary
equipment — and haul in that big one you dream of!

TROLLING TOURS: Highly recommended activity! Numerous schools of fish in the
waters surrounding the Marianas make nearly every trolling trip a success for the
relaxed fisherman.

MANAGAHA ISLAND TOUR: The pearl of Saipan, Managaha Island is located in the
lagoon, 10 minutes by boat from the boat dock, and offers a great beach and
snorkeling. A must-see!

TINIAN ISLAND TOUR: Tinian offers crystal-clear waters and various historic and
scenic sites. Convenient ferry services and plane hops provide easy access from
Saipan.

ROTA ISLAND TOUR: Rota, approximately 30 minutes by plane from Saipan, is an
island filled with lush greenery and friendly people. The islanders welcome visitors with
a smile or the wave of a hand, and share their unique island culture with great

There are also many great golf courses throughout
the Mariana Islands.  Rota however is home to the
beautiful
Rota Resort & Country Club.  The golf
course is an 18 hole, par: 72, measuring at over
7,000 yards.  It also offers a club house, pro shop,
rentals, restaurant and bar, practice range, driving
range, and lockers.
Sports fishing, trolling and deep-sea fishing can be
enjoyed all year round. The waters around the
Marianas are teeming with blue marlin, Spanish
mackerel and tuna. Charter trips from all three islands
hone in on the best fishing locations and provide all
the equipment necessary to haul in the big one. In
August, Saipan holds their Annual Saipan
International Fishing Tournament. Held during the
marlin season, the tournament provides anglers with
an opportunity to put their skills to the test in the midst
of the beautiful tropical waters.

Cliff fishing is popular in Tinian and Rota. The views
are spectacular, while below; the churning waters
offer anglers a unique fishing challenge. Competitors
test their skills during the annual Labor Day Cliff
Fishing Contest on Rota and again in early November
on Tinian. The catch is typically barracuda, red
snapper, skipjack and grouper.
